• J.K. Rowling has a history of being absolutely amazing to her fans, and this time is no different. Kate reached out to Rowling via Twitter with a very specific request in mind. She had been battling many demons for several years and has been in the process of recovering from bullying, sexual assault, and self-harm. According to Kate, it was Rowling who got her through the worst of it.

• She requested a handwritten version of “Expecto Patronum” to be used in a tattoo on the arm on which she used to cut herself. J.K. Rowling came through in flying colors:
