Budweiser is Changing its Name to “America”

• Belgium-owned Budweiser beer is changing it’s name to America because that makes total sense! Starting on May 23rd, cans of Budweiser will sport the moniker ‘America’ and will remain that way through the summer in line with their new marketing campaign which asks drinkers to “Hold her high this summer.” Labels will also include phrases like “E Pluribus Unum,” and “indivisible since 1776.” According to Tosh Hall, the creative director of the campaign, “We thought nothing was more iconic than Budweiser and nothing was more iconic than America.”  Yup, because Budweiser is America guys. Hold her high!
