Prince Dies at 57

Police are investigating at Prince’s estate in Paisley Park, and his publicist as confirmed that the iconic singer has passed away at age 57.

Prince had been hospitalized with the flu recently, and returned to his estate this past Friday. The cause of death is unknown. During the course of his career, Prince had earned 30 nominations for Grammy Awards and won seven. Five singles topped the charts, along with an additional 14 songs hitting the Top 10. He additionally won an Oscar for his score of the classic “Purple Rain.” Here at What’s Trending, we are saddened by the loss of this amazing talent and send our condolences to his loved ones.
