$1,500 A MONTH Silicon Valley Apartment Rented by Two Cats
I know what you’re thinking, what are two cats doing living in an apartment that costs $1,500 a month in rent? Well, Tina and Louise are two fancy cats, who live in the heart of Silicon Valley, all thanks to their owner. Well, their owners’ father. Victoria Amith is a freshman at Azusa Pacific University in Southern California, and due to her flying the nest, she didn’t have a place for her beloved cats, as her dorms wouldn’t allow pets. Therefore, she looked for various furnished apartments for her cats.
Amith’s father became the sole caregiver for Tina and Louise, but after a few months, his fiancée’s dog and the cats, started to fight, a lot. Victoria’s dad needed a solution, and fast. Luckily for him, his dog and the cats, he had a friend, David Callisch, who so happened to be the landlord of a studio apartment in San Jose.
Although the conversation wasn’t anything like the landlord had heard before, he was more than willing to help out his best friend, and take on his new furry tenants. Callisch has since said how lucky he is, as he has such amazing tenants. They don’t complain, keep themselves to themselves and always pay rent on time, which sound like a great deal for both parties.

Although, the cats won’t be living in paradise forever, as Victoria plans on getting a place for her, and her two cats, after her freshman year is over. Despite this, the news of Tina and Louise in their fancy studio apartment has caught the attention of many, and unfortunately, it wasn’t positive attention…

Although many have mentioned about the housing crisis in the area, the landlord and tenants father both responded to these claims, by mentioning that the apartment is actually “in someone’s backyard because of the housing issue in the area and we didn’t want people to say “oh, this is taking away housing.”
Although the cats don’t have much longer left in their humble abode before their mom arrives home, we’re sure they’re going to spend their last few months relaxing just like cats should. Meow, Tina and Louise.
